An invitation to present at the online seminar of Cassidy Sugimoto (Georgia Tech) and Vincent Larivière (University of Montreal) on April 21, 2022 offered an opportunity to introduce and discuss for the first time the research results presented in the forthcoming chapter: “Geography of research activities and urban hierarchies”, of the book Centralités et hiérarchies des réseaux et des territoires (to be translated in english), coordinated by Julie Fen-Chong at ISTE Editions.
This book will be published in French and in English as part of the “Geography and Demography” section of the Encyclopedia of Science project of the scientific publisher ISTE-Wiley, directed by Denise Pumain.
